Rocío García was the best Spanish this Saturday (34th place), in the final of the European Mountain Bike XCO, which was held in Munich (Germany), in a test where the rest of the national cyclists also finished very far from the medals.
If García finished thirty-fourth, Natalia Fischer was 39th and Nuria Bosch, 45th. The European title, for her part, corresponded to the French Loana Lecomte, who took advantage of a breakdown of her compatriot Pauline Ferrand Prevot, to hang the gold. The bronze went to the Dutch Anne Terpstra.
