Rita Maestre announces that she wants to be mayor in the final stretch of her pregnancy: “I snore like a bear”

Rita Masters she wants to be the next mayoress of the Spanish capital and will campaign already six months pregnant. She faces the final stretch between a lot of work and also a lot of discomfort: “I snore like a bear. My husband has to get earplugs.”

She revealed that she was expecting her first child last August. She married to the writer Manuel Guedan in 2018, she has been sharing the pregnancy adventure with all her followers on social networks. “Her knees” also hurt, but that does not prevent her from going around Madrid from top to bottom, nor from setting up a mini gym at home: “The midwife (and everyone) says that it is good for childbirth and for subsequent recovery. He also recommends two hours of walking a day, but I already do those walking up and down Madrid every day for quite some time. Exercise, of course, helps me channel energy, although it’s cumbersome to do it from home. But it’s the only way I have found to prepare myself”, he told a few weeks ago.

And it is that according to Maestre, at 34 and expecting her first child, she has more energy than ever: “The enormous energy I feel is called ‘making the nest’ and it has to do with physical preparation, but actually with the mental and emotional before the arrival of your child”.

Now, she will allocate part of that energy to reach the city council: “I am running as a candidate to be mayor of Madrid in the Más Madrid primaries. It is an enormous responsibility. But I assure you that I will do everything in my power and more to comply each and every one of them.”
