Rihanna Set For Super Bowl

It is still a few months away before the official Super Bowl odds are released, but it’s never too early to start thinking about the big game. The Super Bowl is more than just a football game, as it has become one of the most important days of the year.

Super Bowl Sunday is not an official holiday in the United States, but it very well could be. This game is enjoyed by millions of fans throughout the world, and some are simply tuning in to the Halftime Show as well. 

There have been some big news stories related to the Super Bowl Halftime Show, including the entertainer set to take the stage in 2023. Trying to predict the eventual halftime show performer is almost as enjoyable as trying to pick the Super Bowl winner. 

This year’s entertainer will be Rihanna, as she will take the stage in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium. Rihanna initially started the speculation by fans after posting a picture of a football on her Instagram page.

Since the announcement was made, a number of the brightest music stars chimed in to celebrate the selection and highlight the wonderful career of Rihanna. This will be another performance similar to last year when a number of the biggest hip-hop stars took the stage. 

Tough Act to Follow

Rihanna has had a massive music career, but she is going to have a tough act to follow after the most recent performance. Last year’s Super Bowl took place in Los Angeles, and the Super Bowl Halftime Show was one of the best ever. 

The NFL and Pepsi combined to bring in some of the biggest hip-hop stars of all time in a performance that was highlighted by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. There were also some special performances in that show, and that should be the case again this year.

Rihanna is going to be the one that is doing the most performing, but at some point, she will be joined on stage by some other talent. There have been some memorable Super Bowl Halftime Shows through the years, such as Prince performing Purple Rain down in Miami. 

Now that it has been confirmed that Rihanna is set to perform at the Super Bowl, there will be plenty of time to start looking at prop-betting odds on the big show. 

Apple Music Taking Over

Even before it was announced that Rihanna was going to perform at the Super, it was announced that a new partner was jumping on board. Apple Music was announced as the new partner in a press release that came out during the month of September. 

This is a brand new multi-year partnership that should allow the NFL to see some new musical acts. Apple Music is currently home to over 90 million songs, giving the company plenty of options to choose from when it comes to musical talent. 

Fans won’t have to wait long to get some inside looks at the upcoming performance by Rihanna as Apple Music will be leaking content on social media. Both the NFL and Apple Music work together every year to help choose the performers. 

Swift Shuts it Down?

When Apple Music was announced as the new partner of the Super Bowl Halftime Show, it was widely assumed that Taylor Swift was going to get the nod. Swift has a massive following on the internet with her fans, and rumors quickly started to swirl.

After it was announced that Rihanna had been chosen, it was also confirmed that Swift decided to turn down the offer. The singer is in the process of recording a new album, and she decided that preparing for the Super Bowl would take too much time and energy. 

There will be plenty of speculation as to when Swift will finally agree to play the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and it does seem as if it will likely happen at some point.
