Ricky Rubio, together with Nadal at the graduation of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar

Basketball player Ricky Rubio, point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers and one of the most prominent figures in Spanish basketball, will accompany Rafa Nadal this Wednesday, June 8, during the graduation ceremony of the sixth promotion of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar in Manacor.

Rubio will be at a ceremony in which 33 students will end their academic stage at the Rafa Nadal International School and that it will be held for the first time in the new indoor courts that have been built at the Academy.

Thus Rubio becomes the latest posh ambassador at the Rafa Nadal Academy graduations, since in other editions prominent sports figures such as Pau Gasol, David Ferrer and Ona Carbonell, in addition to Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova, who participated electronically in the 2020 graduation.
