RibéSalat launches #Inspirarparaganar, a campaign to support women’s sports

Inspire to win. Under this motto an initiative was born to empower girls and young people and make them see that they can go as far as they want if they follow the example of their referents. Thus, a campaign has been born so that future sports stars can now follow in the footsteps of their female role models.

RibéSalat, global insurance and reinsurance broker, has launched #Inspirarparaganar (http://inspirarparaganar.com), a campaign to support women’s sports. Promoted together with the collaboration of the soccer players’ agent Charlotte Planes, The initiative aims to spread a message of inspiration for women.

In this way, it wants to collect the example and testimonies of women who compete in different sports categories at the highest level, so that they serve as a source of inspiration and reference for other women and girls who dream of dedicating themselves to the world of sports and achieving success.

Among the athletes who have joined the campaign are Patri Guijarro, Lola Gallardo and Viola Calligaris. The action stems from three major needs detected: increase the visibility of women’s sport, especially in the media; educate new generations to achieve a change of social mentality in this area; and raise awareness about the different obstacles that athletes encounter, such as access to managerial positions after the professional stage. These reasons are collected in a more detailed way in a manifesto, available at https://inspirarparaganar.com/manifiesto-del-deporte-femenino/.

According to Patri Pebble“It is very important that girls and boys grow with female referents, who understand that the fact of being able to devote themselves professionally has nothing to do with whether they are men or women. We fight to be like that. ”

An idea shared by Lola Gallardo, who adds that “it is time to change history. That more than 90,000 people filled the Camp Nou to watch a women’s football match is not by chance, but rather the consequence of increased visibility, accessibility and improved working conditions for the players. Let’s make this visibility reach the rest of women’s sports as well.”
