Report: After a fight with Juwan Howard, Jon Sanderson made an HR claim.

Report: After a fight with Juwan Howard, Jon Sanderson made an HR claim.

What Sanderson and Howard said about what happened will be looked at by the HR staff along with other information about the event.

The HR staff will submit a report to Warde Manuel, the athletic director, after going over all the facts of the case. Manuel will then decide if any rules were broken.

It’s important to note that Howard has had a zero-tolerance policy ever since the famous incident in February 2022, when he hit Wisconsin assistant coach Joe Krabbenhoft after the teams lost.

Quinn said that the fight between Sanderson as well as Howard started when Jace Howard got into a fight with a sports trainer.

Howard hasn’t played within a game this season because he hurt his knee in a stress fracture, and he hasn’t been able to do much in practice lately.

Witnesses and people who knew about the situation say that Sanderson and Juwan Howard separated once things got hot, but no one punched each other.

A source told Maize & Brew which Sanderson told them he wouldn’t be going to Iowa for Sunday’s game. Sanderson hasn’t replied to a request over comment since the fight.

Howard had heart surgery within September and hasn’t fully returned as head coach of the team yet. In Battle 4 Atlantis, he went back to the stands to watch the games, and since then, he has been an assistant coach.

As for Wednesday afternoon, it was still not clear if Howard would be in the stands for Michigan’s next game on Saturday against Eastern Michigan.

Howard was fined $40,000 by the Big Ten and was not allowed to play in the last five games for the regular season.

Sanderson has been at Michigan over more than ten years and has been very important in helping players get stronger. A lot of the time, players “attend Camp Sanderson” to get better during the off-season.

Nik Stauskas famously got 16 pounds stronger with his help before his great season in 2013–14. During the off-season, he also helped coach Dug McDaniel and Tarris Reed Jr.

It’s still not clear how this will all end, but Maize n Beer is trying to find out more about what happened. We’ll let you know when more news comes in.

Fans of Michigan basketball should have had a good weekend because their team beat Iowa 4-1, but quickly the weekend turned into concerns regarding the team’s leadership.

On Sunday night, Juwan Howard got into a fight with Jon Sanderson, who has been a strength and conditioning teacher for a long time. There were rumors about how bad it was, but reports said the fight wasn’t physical as first thought.

On the Field of 68 podcast, Jeff Goodman said that the fight began when team captain Jace Howard went into a fight with a trainer, that Goodman called “over the line.”

As Goodman put it, Sanderson’s answer was, “That’s why the culture is the way it is around here.”

The good man said, “So Juwan hears this, along with Juwan gets mad and upset.” “We’ve seen Juwan mad before. A few years ago, he did it with Mark Turgeon without anyone else there.

During the Wisconsin game, he slapped or hit Krabbenhoft, depending on what you want to call it.

She did the same thing with Greg Gard as well as Tom Brady. He went up to Sanderson, a big, strong strength teacher who is about 6-7, 6-8, 270 pounds.

This is what you would think of if you saw a picture for a strength coach right now. As I’ve heard from several people, he went straight up to him and touched him chest to chest and nose to nose before they had been separated.

Howard went to Iowa City on Sunday, yet Sanderson is said to be taking a week off. He is anticipated to come back to the team on Dec. 16, if Michigan plays Eastern Michigan, the same day Howard takes over as coach.

It’s still not clear what will happen with this argument and whether Howard and Sanderson’s relationship will suffer as a result.

For now, though, Howard should be back as head coach on Saturday, and Sanderson should also be back with the team.

According to The Athletic on Wednesday, Sanderson filed a misconduct complaint against Howard because of what happened last week.

The problem started with what seemed to be a disagreement between a team trainer and Howard’s son Jace, a senior guard on the team who is 22 years old and has missed the whole season so far because of leg injuries.

It was said that Jace Howard was wondering why the team hadn’t let him play yet since he had a stress fracture within his knee and shin.

According to the news source, Sanderson got involved in this argument and “exchanged words” with Juwan Howard in the end.
