Regarding yellows, 1,858 were shown, with 251 errors. The success was 97.36%. 43 direct reds were shown: 26 by the referee and 17 assisted by the VAR. Six more should have been shown.

“The only way to achieve criteria unification is to watch videos and analyze them together. We have seen 946 video clips with our referees during the season, the previous one was 650,” says the president of the referees.

Of the 380 games that have been played in LaLiga Santander, the VAR intervened in 156 proceedings, of which in 9 the referee upheld his decision (6 for penalties and 3 for offside interference or previous foul) and 5 decisions were improved decisions.
