MADRID, 17 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Federation of Shareholders and Partners of Spanish Football (FASFE) has assured that Real Sociedad has opened “at the last minute” the visiting area of the Reale Arena for Real Betis fans, to witness the LaLiga EA Sports match between San Sebastian and Verdiblancos. They are playing this Sunday, in addition to ensuring that local fans have bought some tickets from Betic fans so that they could enter the stadium.
“At the last minute, the leaders of Real Sociedad have opened the visiting area of Reale Rena for Real Sociedad-Betis. The stands will welcome a few Real Betis fans. Many who planned the trip will not be there, having canceled the tickets the local club,” said FASFE.
This week, during the General Meeting of Shareholders of the Basque club, the president of the entity, Jokin Aperribay, made some controversial statements against the Betic fans. “They can give us whatever sanctions they want, but no guy from Betis who comes to touch our balls is going to enter Anoeta. Radicals cannot be allowed in Anoeta on the day in which Aitor Zabaleta is honored on the 25th anniversary of his murder, precisely, by ultras,” he noted.
In addition, FASFE reported that tickets for visiting fans have been sold “for 35 euros, five euros more than the price agreed in the agreement of the 17 First Division clubs.” “There are also some Betis fans in sectors other than the visiting stands from whom local fans have bought tickets after the club's veto,” he concluded.
