Real Madrid works the pressure

Without setbacks, with the streak of injuries that Real Madrid has suffered in recent months, it is already good news. The team developed this Thursday under the orders of Zinedine Zidane its second training session to prepare for the league match this Saturday 20 (16:15, Movistar LaLiga) against Celta de Vigo in Balaídos. The white players worked on pressure and possession of the ball and then played several games.

As happened yesterday Wednesday, the French coach could not count on the four players who are still in the infirmary. Odriozola and Mariano combined individual work in the gym and on the grass, while Hazard and Carvajal continue to recover from their respective injuries.

The Belgian lost again on Monday after a muscle injury to his right psoas was detected, while the winger continues to convalesce from a right thigh injury suffered in mid-February. The return of the Spanish international is not scheduled, at least, until after the national team break.

Madrid will return to training tomorrow, Friday, on the eve of the match against Celta. This time it will be done in the afternoon session, at 4:15 p.m., a custom that the team has been following in the last league trips in which it has had to travel the day before the game. Zidane will speak at a press conference before the session. An appearance in which the Madrid coach will be able to assess the rival of the white team in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, whose draw will take place at 12:00 noon at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon (Switzerland).

On the other hand, today, Thursday, the referee of the Vigo match was also known. The clash, corresponding to the 28th day of LaLiga Santander, will be directed by the Andalusian Melero López, who has yet to whistle the whites this season. In the VAR will be the Balearic Cuadra Fernández.
