The president of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez, and the coaches and captains of the first men’s and women’s football and basketball teams starred in the traditional Christmas message of the merengue team, in which the president recalled the “great sporting successes” achieved in 2024 and The Italian coach advocated “dreaming big” in 2025.
After a year full of successes in football and basketball, the president, coaches and captains of the three Real Madrid teams congratulated the fans on the holidays, and sent their best wishes for 2025.
The president of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez, commented that these are dates to “share with family and loved ones”, and wanted to have “an emotional memory” for all the people who have been affected by the DANA tragedy. “Our heart goes out to all of them and I want to show them once again our affection and solidarity. For his part, the coach of the men’s first soccer team, Carlo Ancelotti, addressed the fans, reminding them that these are dates to “dream big.” “In the team we have the same hope as you for the new year: to fight for everything until the end. Merry Christmas and a great 2025,” he noted.
The team’s first captain, Luka Modric, thanked the fans for their “passion”, while Dani Carvajal pointed out that their titles in 2024 were also from the fans. “With that strength that you give us, we will continue to compete for everything. Always,” he added.
