Real Madrid replies with a video to Laporta for considering him “the team of the regime”

The Madrid club reminds the Barça leader of the reclassifications obtained with Franco or the titles won at that time

MADRID, 18 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Madrid responded to the words of the president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, this Monday, in which he blamed him for being “historically considered the team of the regime”, and he did so through a video on social networks where he reminded him of the requalifications obtained by Francisco Franco, the decorations that the Barça club awarded him or the number of titles he won in that period.

“There is a club that has gone it alone and says that it feels harmed sportingly; Real Madrid. A club that has historically and currently been favored by arbitration decisions, for whatever reasons. A club historically considered the team of the regime of turn due to its proximity to political, economic and sports power”, attacked Laporta during his appearance before the media to give explanations for the ‘Negreira case’.

The Madridista response did not arrive until Monday night and it was through social networks and a video where, after showing this moment of the ‘culé’ leader’s speech, he asked the question ‘Which was the regime’s team?’

From then on, Real Madrid underscores events such as the fact that the Camp Nou was inaugurated by José Solís Ruiz, Franco’s Minister General, that the Catalan club awarded the General its gold and diamond insignia, decorated him three times and named him a partner of honor in 1965.

In addition, it stands out that FC Barcelona “was saved by Franco three times from bankruptcy with three reclassifications” and that it won “eight Leagues and nine Generalissimo Cups” at that time, while Real Madrid “took 15 years” to win a league title.

In addition, he points out that the Madrid team was “dismantled” during the Civil War with “players murdered, exiled or detained”, adding a piece of the documentary on Santiago Bernabéu in this regard and the words of the Madrid leader about what he thought when they said they were the regime’s team: “When I hear that Madrid has been the regime’s team, it makes me want to shit on the father of whoever says so.” The video ends with the question: ‘Which is the regime’s team?’
