Emilio Butragueño and the CEO of Ansorena, Jaime Mato, presented the I International Solidarity Auction of art and sports, to benefit the social sports projects of the Real Madrid Foundation.
In the presentation of the event, Emilio Butragueño he was grateful to the Ansorena team “that supports us altruistically with this initiative in these moments that are especially difficult. We have had the support of many of the best artists and athletes in history, who have once again demonstrated their human quality. Each of these pieces represents a personal story and anyone who can buy them will have a gesture of solidarity and generosity. We have unique pieces of extraordinary value, donated by top-level athletes and artists from all over the world ”.
The Director of Institutional Relations of Real Madrid also pointed out the exceptional importance of some pieces such as the original script for Volver a Empezar, donated by Jose Luis Garci; the guitar of Alejandro Sanz; as well as donations from P
elé, Beckham, Casillas, Ronaldo Nazario, Richard Gere, Sara Baras, Usain Bolt, Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz, Alberto Contador, Miguel Induráin, Perico Delgado, Sergio García, Federer, Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, among many others.
For its part, Jaime Mato affirmed: “It is a pride to have so many important artists such as Antonio López, Lucio Muñoz, Manolo Valdés, Jaime Plensa, Rafael Canogar, Ouka Lele, José Manuel Ballester or Chema Madoz, among almost 40 artists who have wanted to collaborate altruistically ”.
The auction will be held on November 4 at 6:00 p.m. in person and will accept telephone or virtual bids from here from October 20. The articles can also be seen in Ansorena (calle de Alcalá 52, Madrid) from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
