Real Madrid hired in 2016 Roberto Carlos already Ronaldo as ambassadors of the club in the world and in 2017, to Raul as deputy to the general manager. The three received a remuneration of one million euros per year. This has been revealed by ‘Infolibre’, through documents from ‘Football Leaks’ leaked to the German weekly Der Spiegel.
According to Infolibre, Real Madrid did not make an employment contract to Ronaldo so as not to have to show it to the works council and for tax reasons. Furthermore, in the case of Roberto Carlos, Real Madrid seized part of his salary after receiving an order from a Sao Paulo court for not paying alimony to two of his nine children.
