The opening match between Al Ahly and Auckland City on February 1 has already been defined, the winner of which will advance to the second round, where the Seattle Sounders, Al Hilal and Wydad Casablanca enter the competition.

Real Madrid and Flamengo will begin their participation in the semifinals of the tournament, which will be played on February 7 and 8, with the winners of the second round as rivals. The final will take place on Saturday, February 11.

The Madrid team, now playing in the Spanish Super Cup, already has three Intercontinentals (1960, 1998 and 2002) and four Mundialitos (2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018), so that, five years later, they will choose to win their fifth world title.
