Real Madrid easily beat Getafe

The real Madrid He did not pay for the hangover from the victory against Chelsea in the Champions League. The white team beat Getafe without problems and remains very firm in its race for the LaLiga title. A more complicated game was expected for the Whites, but the truth is that Getafe was never a rival for Real Madrid, which is one step closer to winning LaLiga.

Carlo Ancelotti and the rotations finally appeared in the eleven of Real Madrid. A request, to give rest to the most common, which was little less than a popular cry that the Italian heard. Against Getafe, he rested Carvajal, Modric and Kroos, toof over Mendy who was left out of the call due to fatigue. Without the ‘ball players’, a more vertical Real Madrid was seen, more aggressive when it came to recovering the ball with Valverde and Camavinga the banners of this Real Madrid.

The whites came out with a lot of attitude, putting pressure on a Getafe that was waiting behind and trusted everything to stealing the ball so that Unal and Mayoral could do their thing up front. An idea that could not materialize because Real Madrid recovered the ball very quickly and even scored in the fourth minute, but the referee annulled Benzema’s goal for offside. It was the first notice of a white team that completely commanded a Getafe that defended and nothing more. Thus the minutes passed without the whites managing to overcome the azulona barrier with David Soria being their last guardian avoiding the white goal.

In the end, Real Madrid’s insistence was rewarded with a goal from casemiro in the 38th minute when finishing off a cross from vinicius who did it to him Modric, with the outside of the foot. Real Madrid had done the most difficult thing, scoring the first goal and with that 1-0 they came to rest at the Bernabéu.

Getafe, with the need to come back, advanced their lines at the start of the second half and Quique renewed the attack removing Mayoral and Aleñá and giving entrance to Sandro and Oscar. Despite the fact that the azulona idea was to draw, but the reality is that Real Madrid continued to live very comfortably on the pitch, without seeing the 1-0 on the scoreboard in danger. A tranquility that was also felt in the stands, despite the fact that there was also some concern because Real Madrid did not score the second goal to close the match. The madridista who was most nervous on the pitch and even angry was Ancelotti that he asked his men to press harder to search and find that second goal to shelve the match and focus on Tuesday’s duel against Chelsea.

Ancelotti was able to breathe easy in the 68th minute with the 2-0 Lucas Vazquez, his quality is tremendous when it comes to finishing off, after Rodrygo. It is true that there was a long time ahead, but the feeling was that another Real Madrid goal was easier to see than Getafe’s first. With this panorama, Ancelotti put in the field to Bale who had not played at the Bernabéu for more than two years. That was the highlight of the final stretch of a game without much more history than a shot at the post of Unal in added time. It was the only chance for Getafe in the entire duel. So easy was the triumph of Real Madrid
