Real Madrid crashes in La Laguna and Barça is more leader

MADRID, 3 Apr. (SportsFinding) –

Barça beat MoraBanc Andorra (74-86) this Sunday on matchday 27 of the Endesa League to become strong in the lead, thanks to Real Madrid’s tough defeat against Lenovo Tenerife (72-59), while Valencia Basket, Gran Canaria and Río Breogán won the fight for the ‘playoffs’.

The culé team made it 21-5 at the top of the table in Andorra, with a forceful attack based on the outstanding performance of Exum (14 points), Kuric (14) and Mirotic (13). The culé team found only opposition in the first quarter, with an Andorra that has eight wins in the fight for salvation.

Meanwhile, Madrid showed the problems of the game and the results that they are going through in a resounding defeat in La Laguna. Txus Vidorreta’s team avenged a handful of defeats and eliminations in the Cup against those from the capital, they had not beaten the whites since 2017, thanks to Fitipaldo (14 points and 9 assists).

Pablo Laso’s team seemed to bottom out in the last quarter, with a final run of 14-2 and a clearly aurinegro last quarter (31-16). Madrid is hanging from the head (19-7) before playing second place in the Regular Phase of the Euroleague next week. The canaries settle the ‘Top 8’ with 16 wins.

The fight to be in the ‘playoffs’ heats up every day. Valencia added the 18th to fight to be seeded, after a great second half against Unicaja (90-75). Meanwhile, Gran Canaria matched the 14 victories of Bitci Baskonia and UCAM Murcia, surpassing the Basques with authority.

The best Pustovyi led the team from Las Palmas after the break (27-47) against a Baskonia that had neither weapons nor gasoline. Meanwhile, the Breogán River added 13, at the expense of Paco Olmos’ Hereda San Pablo Burgos, well received on his return to Lugo. Sakho, Mahalbasic, Musa and Bell-Haynes exceeded 20 in PIR at 105-96.
