BARCELONA, 4 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Italian-Brazilian central defender Luiz Felipe will play for Real Betis for the next five seasons after signing his new contract as a club player, to which he arrives free after ending his link with Lazio in the Italian Serie A, until June 2027.
“Real Betis Balompié has incorporated Luiz Felipe into its ranks. The Italian-Brazilian central defender will be a Verdiblanco player until 2027,” announced the Verdiblanco club.
Luiz Felipe Ramos Marchi, born in Brazil but international with Italy, played for Lazio until this past year after arriving at the Italian club in 2016 from his native country.
After being loaned to US Salernitana in his first season in Italy, in 2017 he returned to Lazio to play regularly for the last five seasons. In total, Luiz Felipe has played a total of 152 games as a professional, scoring three goals and dishing out five assists.
Luiz Felipe was international under-20 and under-23 with the Brazilian team. In 2022 he received the call from the Italian coach, Roberto Mancini, to join the Italian team. The new Real Betis central defender made his debut with Italy at senior level on June 14.
