RdT marks the path of the goal in a sterile Espanyol in First

The previous season, with the LaLiga SmartBank title and promotion, Espanyol stood out with their 71 goals in favor. Players such as Raúl de Tomás, Adrián Embarba or Javi Puado have passed the dozen goals forming a unique trident in the Second Division in recent campaigns. But the requirement of Primera leads the attack to a more uncertain scenario: in the highest category the top scorer is RdT with 18 goals, and Espanyol does not have experienced scorers.

While waiting for the final preparation of the squad, which a priori will not be very different from the current one due to the vicissitudes of the market, the squad has scored 77 goals in the First Division in their careers. After RdT, who has scored 14 goals with Rayo and four with Espanyol in the half season he played in the 2019-20 campaign, David López is placed, with 13 goals. The center-back reflects the lack of scoring experience in the First Division of the Blue and Whites' attack, waiting for players like Nico Melamed or Javi Puado, both with little experience, to consolidate.
