Rayo Vallecano-Mirandés postponed

The match between Lightning and the Mirandés, scheduled for Saturday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vallecas, was postponed this Friday by the Competition Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation after the six positives for coronavirus detected in the Burgos set.

“LaLiga informs that the Competition Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation has decided to postpone the meeting between Rayo Vallecano and CD Mirandés,” LaLiga reports in its statement.

The decision is made after LaLiga's request to postpone said match upon having proof of the results of the tests carried out yesterday, March 25, which reveal six positive cases of COVID-19 in the Mirandés, between players and coaching staff.

According to LaLiga, “during the following days daily tests will be carried out in order to determine the extent of the outbreak and the health situation of the squad will be evaluated” before announcing the new date of the postponed match, corresponding to matchday 31 of the SmartBank League.
