MADRID, 11 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Brazilian footballer Raphael ‘Raphinha’ Dias is seen with his facas from FC Barcelona as “candidate to win everything” during this season, after scoring two goals this Tuesday for the access of the Blaugranas to the quarterfinals in the Champions League, thanks to his 3-1 victory against SL Benfica in the second leg.
“I think we are a candidate to win everything,” Raphinha told Movistar Plus+ after the meeting in the Olimpic Lluís Companys. “For me the most important thing is what we managed to do as a team and I am quite happy for this victory,” summarized the Brazilian striker.
“We knew that Benfica’s team would come quite strong and we knew what we had to do to win the game and we were focused on this. In the end we had the result in our favor and I think we managed to do a good first part,” he said.
Similarly, he praised Lamine Yamal for becoming the youngest player in the history of the Champions League that manages to score and attend in the same game. “Spectacular, his goal demonstrates what Lamine Yamal is. In the end he is a spectacular player, with tremendous quality and we just have to win with him,” he said about it.
Finally, he had a message of encouragement for the sudden death of Dr. Carles Miñarro. “What happened a few days ago you have given us enough strength to get to this game with more desire to win,” Raphinha concluded in his statements on the field.
