Ramos and Messi in The Best XI

What The league has lost competitiveness in Europe in recent seasons it is a fact that can be seen perfectly reflected in the The Best Once 2020. A couple of years ago, it was common to see several players from Real Madrid, Barça and Atelti conquering the lines of the ideal alignment, arriving in 2013 to occupy all the positions, but now, only two players seem to survive in the elite of world football: Sergio Ramos and Messi.

The captains of Real Madrid and Barcelona are the only representatives of LaLiga in a The Best XI in which they share an alignment with Thiago Alcantara, whose presence next to that of Ramos makes Spain be the most represented country. Three other players were also chosen from the Liverpool (Allison, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold), three of Bayern (Kimmich, Davies and Lewandowski) one of one Manchester City (De Bruyne) and another of the Juventus (Christian Ronaldo).

The eleven would be left with Alisson, who curiously surpassed Neuer in the vote, elected best goalkeeper, under the sticks; a defensive line in which the only doubt was the right back, since Kimmich was chosen as a midfielder, so that position was occupied by Alexander-Arnold. Ramos and Van Dijk, the two best center-backs in the world, lead a rear that is completed by Davies, the best full-back of the last season. In the middle, De Bruyne, voted best player of the Premier, shares midfield with Spanish Thiago, who was also one of the ten finalists for The Best, and the aforementioned Kimmich. Finally, the forward formed by Messi, Cristiano and Lewandowski was more than evident since the three players occupied the podium of The Best award.
