Rafinha, the first to fall

PSG has a clear objective in winter: to sell. Although Leonardo has consistently reiterated that it is not his specialty, the Parisian team has to lighten as soon as possible a squad that has, in an anomalous way, 33 first-team chips, something that has been a problem for the club, especially at the time trying to empower the great talents of the training center.

The first to fall off the exit ramp will be Rafinha. As AS has learned and as confirmed by ‘Le Parisien’, the transfer of the midfielder to Real Sociedad is imminent. It only remains to determine the way in which the transfer will take place, if it will include a purchase option and if PSG will assume part of the salary of the former Barcelona player. Rafinha will play for Real Sociedad until the end of the season after barely counting for Pochettino and after having lost prominence in the team with the departure of Tuchel just a year ago.

Rafinha’s departure is the first of many that PSG wants to materialize in January. Another favorite to leave the French capital is Tilo Kehrer, which, although he feels comfortable in the French capital, Leonardo considers him transferable. Icardi, as long as a good offer arrives, Diallo, Sergio Rico and, above all, Kurzawa, are other of the players who aim to leave Paris during the next weeks.
