Rafa Nadal returns to compete … in a golf tournament

Rafa Nadal will return to a competition this weekend … although he will not do it on a tennis court, something that was expected to do on August 30 when the US Open begins, the last Grand Slam of the season. However, the Spaniard will not compete on a tennis court again in 2021, as confirmed this Friday.

As published by the Balearic Golf Federation, Nadal appears on the list of entries for the Balearic Mid-Amateur Golf Championship held this Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 at the Arabella Golf Club Son Muntaner.

It so happens that Nadal, a great golf fan, He starts as the first favorite for the title since he is the golfer with the best handicap among the participants with -1.2.

Thus Nadal, who resigned from the 1,000 Masters in Canada and Cincinnati because of his left foot discomfort from which he suffered in Washington, where he returned to compete after falling in the semifinals of Roland Garros, will try to maintain his competitive character on the green as he begins his recovery to return in the best possible shape to the ATP circuit in 2022.
