Racing Ferrol prevails at the Logroñés stadium

Ferrol beat Logroñés 1-2 during the duel held this Saturday in Las Gaunas. Logroñés arrived with the intention of returning to the path of victory after suffering a 1-0 loss in the previous game against Racing Santander. On the visitors’ side, Racing Ferrol was defeated 1-3 in the last game they played against Zamora. After the scoreboard, the Logroño team is fifth, while Ferrol is third at the end of the game.

During the first half of the duel none of the players managed to score a goal, so during the first 45 minutes the score did not move from the initial 0-0.

The second part of the game started positively for the eleven from Ferrol, who premiered their light through a goal from Joselu in the 52nd minute. But later the eleven from Logroño put the tables by putting the 1-1 through a goal by Iker Guarrotxena in the 70th minute. Racing Ferrol took the lead thanks to Rodriguez’s goal in the 84th minute, ending the confrontation with the score of 1- two.

In the chapter of changes, Albert Aguilà’s Logroñés relieved Siddiki, Andoni Pérez and Noé for David Ramos, Paolo Medina and Fer Cano, while Ferrol’s coach, Cristóbal Parralo, ordered the entry of Rodriguez, Viacava, Rodríguez, Nathan and Candelas to replace Joselu, Héber, Dani Nieto, Alayeto and Del Pozo.

The referee sanctioned four players with a yellow card. He showed three yellow cards to Paolo Medina, Fer Cano and Aitor Arregui, from Logroñés and one to Álex López from Ferrol.

With 59 points, Cristóbal Parralo’s team was in third place in the table, instead of the playoff for promotion to the Second Division, while the team led by Albert Aguilà was in fifth position with 53 points, also in a position of promotion playoff to Second Division, at the end of the match.

The next day of the competition will face Logroñés away from home against Deportivo, while Racing Ferrol will face Talavera de la Reina at their stadium.
