Racing Santander won this Friday by a solitary 1-0 against UD Ibiza, which has already been mathematically relegated despite still being in matchday 38 of LaLiga SmartBank, while the Cantabrians have distanced themselves from the dangerous area with this triumph.
Roko Baturina scored the only goal after half an hour, thanks to good control with his chest inside the rival area. After a distant lateral free kick, thrown by Íñigo Vicente, Baturina lowered the ball until he outlined up to connect a strong left-footed shot into the back of the net.
In this way, Racing reached 47 points and extended its calm status for one more day. Meanwhile, the Ibizan team remains anchored in the 29 points of its penultimate position, signing its fourth consecutive defeat in Santander.
