Racing de Santander defends its leadership against Rayo Majadahonda

Racing visits Cerro del Espino this Saturday to face Majadahonda in its thirty-third round of the First RFEF, which will start at 7:00 p.m.

Rayo Majadahonda faces the hope of regaining positive feelings in the match corresponding to the thirty-third day after suffering a defeat against SD Logroñés in the previous match by a result of 3-1. Since the start of the competition, the locals have won 15 of the 32 games played so far and have accumulated a figure of 39 goals conceded against 41 in favour.

Regarding the visiting team, Racing de Santander won their last two games of the competition against Logroñés at home and Internacional away from home, by 1-0 and 0-3 respectively, so they intend to maintain their winning streak in the Rayo Majadahonda stadium. To date, of the 32 games that the team has played in the First RFEF, they have won 22 of them with a figure of 51 goals for and 22 against.

Focusing on performance as a local team, Rayo Majadahonda has won 10 times, lost three times and drawn three times in 16 games played so far, numbers that can be encouraging for Racing de Santander, as they show a certain weakness of the locals in the matches played at Cerro del Espino. Away from home, Racing de Santander has a balance of 10 wins, four losses and two draws in 16 games they have played so far, so they will have to get serious in the duel with Rayo Majadahonda to win.

Currently, between Rayo Majadahonda and Racing de Santander there is a difference of 22 points in the standings. Abel Gómez’s team arrives at the match in sixth position and with 50 points before the match. For its part, Racing de Santander is the current leader of the First RFEF and has accumulated a total of 72 points so far.
