Racing added three points to its locker after winning 1-0 against Ferrol this Wednesday at the Campos de Sport in El Sardinero. Racing de Santander came into the game in high spirits after beating SD Logroñés 0-1 away from home. With this defeat, after finishing the game, Racing Ferrol was in eighth place in the table with 29 points. Racing de Santander, meanwhile, reached second place with 40 points, occupying a playoff spot for promotion to the Second Division.
