RAC: UEFA can still move the stage for Barça-Naples

As announced by the El Mòn a RAC-1 program, UEFA has approached the Health Department of the Generalitat to ensure that there are guarantees to play Barça-Naples on August 8 (21:00 hours) without jeopardizing the health of the protagonists.

The situation in Catalonia, where Covid-19 cases increase, would have generated some concern in UEFA, which wants to have guarantees that if the game is finally played at Camp Nou, it will be done with all the security measures. A couple of days ago, the newspaper O Jogo published that both Guimaraes and Porto are prepared to receive the match if necessary.

Barça have already expressed their desire to play the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 match at Camp Nou because they consider it to be law despite the fact that it is a disadvantage to do so without an audience after Napoli had the support of San Paolo. The club hopes that the situation does not go beyond a UEFA consultation to the Health Department of the Generalitat and the party is played without problems at the State.
