Queen Camilla visits King Charles III after his prostate operation

The king Charles III75 years old, underwent surgery this Friday for an enlarged prostate at the London Clinic hospital (same medical center where he is admitted Kate Middleton). Hours after the intervention, the queen Camilla76, has returned to the hospital to check on her husband.

On this second visit to the hospital, Camilla arrived smiling to see the British monarch. “He turned out well, thank you,” the queen responded to the group of journalists who were at the doors of the hospital. Likewise, a few hours after Charles III was admitted, Buckingham sources confirmed that the intervention had no complications.

The sovereign and the princess of Wales share a medical center in London. This decision facilitates the work of both palaces, Buckingham and Kensington, to have the progress of both patients centralized in a single information point, the newspaper comments. Even so, they recognized that this is an “unusual” circumstance, especially due to the coincidence in time of both operating processes.

Kate, hospitalized since January 16, when she underwent abdominal surgery, is recovering from her operation. As announced by Kensington Palace, the princess expressed the wish that information about her health status remain “private” in order to “maintain as much normality as possible for their children.
