PSG sits at the Bayern table

Soccer owes nothing to anyone. Nor to PSG. But the Parisian team did have a pending account with something that money can never buy, greatness. A greatness that has won with sweat and ink rather than with petrodollars and that has allowed him to sit at the same table as colossi such as Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern, these last two eliminated by PSG in the current Champions League. There was no comeback in the Parc des Princes despite Bayern's 0-1 in a knockout for soccer history.

The line-ups brought the adrenaline tag before the game. If the first leg was exciting, this Tuesday was presented as a chess game between Flick and Pochettino. The Argentine left Verratti on the bench, he placed Danilo from central and repeated the scheme of the first leg. Flick, without Goretka, came out with his classic 4-2-3-1 with Praise in the middle.

We can only thank the Champions League for the first part they gave us PSG-Bayern. There was everything. Goals, tension, posts … And, above all, chances. PSG, led by a sublime Neymar, enjoyed the clearest opportunities, but like Bayern in the first leg, he missed finishing. The show of Neymar He brought with him a shot to the crossbar and another to the post after two plays of what he is, one of the best players in the world. Neuer saved a heads-up with the Brazilian and Bayern, who had barely intimidated Keylor Navas with two arrivals from Sané and Kimmich, came forward by means of Choupo-Moting, who took advantage of a Keylor rejection to score with a header.

Neymar continued his show in the second half, crushing Bayern at every reception and not reaching a Di Maria center by millimeters in a wonderful play by the former Barça player. Flick admitted Musiala and Pochettino counterattacked with Moise Kean in the final stretch. With a Bayern launched, the referee annulled a goal by Mbappé for an offside very fair pass from Neymar. Sané and Müller warned at the end, but it was too late and the PSG went to the semifinals of a tie for the annals of the Champions.
