After Friday’s draw against Strasbourg, PSG decided to send four players, including Sergio Ramos, to Rwanda this Saturday to make a protocol visit in collaboration with the ‘Visit Rwanda’ brand and to exploit the hospitality of the African country. The Andalusian central defender, who started again with the Parisians, is trying to promote various publicity acts of the club to stick to PSG and try to have a place in the squad next season.
The visit to Rwanda is the third made by PSG in recent years after Youri Djorkaeff in 2020 and Rai last year. In addition to Ramos, Julian Draxler, Keylor Navas and Tilo Kehrer were the other players who made the expedition in the African country where they were able to visit the Big 5 in the Akagera National Park, a place where they saw elephants, antelopes or zebras, or the Volcanoes National Park, a symbol of Rwanda.
According to the PSG statement, the players have also met with several players from the PSG Academy in Rwanda, which is specifically in Kigali, place where a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial was also organized to pay tribute to the victims and learn about the abuses that were perpetrated against the Tutsis. Ramos will return to Paris this Tuesday to prepare for the match against Troyes on Sunday of matchday 36 of Ligue 1.
