PSG seeks to shield one of its jewels

PSG continues to try to shield the best players it has in the training center. After renewing Edouard Michut until 2024, the Parisians’ next targets are Xavi Simons and Ismaël Gharbi. Negotiations with the Dutchman are not advancing, so it is most likely that he will leave for free in June, while with Gharbi, optimism is total.

According to information from RMC SportLeonardo has already started negotiations for the youth squad to sign his first professional contract with PSG, which are advanced, and become a regular player in training with the first team. Gharbi is considered one of the best players in the prestigious academy of the current leader of Ligue 1so its renewal was a major issue in the club’s sports management.

This season, the winger has played three games, none of which were in Ligue 1. He played the Trophée des Champions in August against Lille and had minutes in PSG’s first two French Cup games.
