PSG and Madrid fight for Alaba

Real Madrid has competition in the race to sign David Alaba. Specifically, the last to join it is PSG, who has contacted the Austrian player to let him know his interest in him joining Paris from July, when his contract with Bayern ends. In fact, 'Sky' already reported that Alaba had had a conversation with Nasser Al Khelaifi, president of PSG, to convey his intentions.

PSG's interest in Alaba is not surprising, in any case; The Austrian ends his contract with Bayern Munich on June 30, he has already officially announced that he will not renew (He did it privately with the Munich club months ago and recently gave a press conference to corroborate it) and since January 1 he is free to speak with as many clubs as they want to take over his services. Bayern, meanwhile, has already done their homework and has closed the hiring of Dayot Upamecano, also on Madrid's agenda, in exchange for 42.5 million euros.

Alaba has been in contact with Real Madrid for some time and already knows the white proposal: eleven million net per season, in addition to the transfer bonus that the footballer and his agent, the well-known Israeli representative Pini Zahavi, will demand. Other teams, such as City, have also shown interest in signing the Austrian with superior economic proposals (As AS learned and has already published this newspaper, the Manchester team reaches 15 million net); However, in Madrid they trust that Alaba's sporting decision prevails, who prefers to play in white.

Praise affects Ramos

This interest of PSG in Alaba, obviously, has consequences for Sergio Ramos, another center-back who ends his contract on June 30 and still does not have a renewal agreement with Real Madrid. The Sevillian center-back is one of PSG's goals for next season if he finally doesn't stay in Madrid, but the inclusion of Alaba on the French team's shopping list reduces his chances. to end up playing in the Parque de los Príncipes, mainly because he would request an equivalent salary, if not higher (he already earns 12 million net in Madrid) since he is six years older than the Austrian (34, by 28 from Alaba; will be 35 and 29 in July).
