Princess Leonor is already on private vacation: this is how she recharges batteries for her new military stage in Zaragoza

The days off for the royal family have started this Monday, after ending their public holidays in Palma. These began last Saturday, July 29, with the arrival of the Asturian consort and her daughters in Marivent. Felipe VI, on the other hand, arrived a few days earlier to focus on training for the Copa del Rey de Vela and fulfill other commitments.

The destination chosen by kings and their daughters for their private vacations is never announced on the agenda of the Royal House because it is part of their personal rest. However, on occasion the mystery has been solved.

It must be remembered that in 2011, a tourist got the famous photographs of Queen Letizia in a bikini in the middle of the Greek Islands. Four years later, in 2015, they were in Istanbul. In 2017, they enjoyed the dream towns that frame the Côte d’Azur. And, in June 2021, it came to light that the consort went on vacation with her two daughters and her mother, Rock Dovea Portugal.

The Infanta Sofía, for her part, will follow in the footsteps of her older sister when she begins, on August 29, her new stage at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales. Like Leonor, she will study the International Baccalaureate.

The military training of the princess

It is expected that on the first day, August 17, the new students will tour the center’s facilities with their families. For this reason, it is expected that on this first day Leonor will attend the visit together with the Kings.

Until August 30, cadets have a period of adaptation. Between August 31 and September 1, both the princess and the rest of her companions must pass a high-level exam. Once these tests have been passed, the instruction and training phase will take place until September 10. Then, the first semester will begin.

Nine days later, the act of delivery of sabers is scheduled as a symbol of obtaining the title of lady cadet. On October 7, one of the most important days of her formation will be celebrated, since Leonor will swear allegiance with the rest of her classmates.
