The athletes Laura Priego, Laura Luengo, Laura Méndez and Naima Ait Alibou start as the main favorites to fight to be the fastest Spanish in the Nationale-Nederlanden San Silvestre Vallecana, which takes place this Saturday, according to a statement from the organization.
Priego is the most outstanding athlete, after his sixth place in last year’s edition, with a time of 32:59. She was the first of the Spanish women to fight with Águeda Muñoz, and the best national mark in 10K in 2021. Luengo will not miss the appointment either, in a test that he already ran in 2020, signing a tenth place with 33:42. His goal will be to improve this result, after a remarkable cross-country season, third in Soria and fourth in Alcobendas.
