Preview of match day 27: Formentera against Prat

Next Saturday at 4:00 p.m. the match of the twenty-seventh day of the Second RFEF will be played, which will face Formentera and Prat at the Municipal.

Formentera wants to meet again with victory in the match corresponding to matchday twenty-seven after having lost their last game against Lleida Esportiu by a score of 2-1. In addition, the locals have won in 11 of the 26 games played so far, with a streak of 30 goals for and 20 against.

On the visitors’ side, Prat had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Numancia during their last match, so they will try to continue adding points to their qualifying table against Formentera. Of the 26 games that he has played in this season of the Second RFEF, El Prat has won 10 of them with a figure of 29 goals for and 28 against.

As a local, Formentera has won seven times, has lost three times and has drawn three times in 13 games played so far, numbers that may seem hopeful for El Prat, as they show a certain weakness of the locals in the matches that are played in the Municipal. Away, El Prat has a balance of two wins, seven losses and three draws in 12 games they have played so far, so they will have to make an effort to score points in their visit to the Formentera stadium to try to break the statistics.

Likewise, the locals are the ones that have won the most times in their stadium against El Prat, as they have done so on the last three occasions. The last time Formentera and Prat played in this competition was in December 2021 and the match ended with a 1-1 draw.

Regarding the situation of both teams in the qualifying table of the Second RFEF, we can see that, before the dispute of the match, Formentera is ahead of Prat with a difference of three points. Míchel Alonso’s team is in fifth place with 40 points in their locker. For their part, the visitors have 37 points and are in seventh place in the tournament.
