MADRID, 27 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Valencia Basket guard Klemen Prepelic suffered a severe fracture in his left arm, in a fall in the last minute of this Sunday’s duel against UCAM Murcia, for which he says goodbye to the season and will undergo surgery.
“Valencia Basket shooting guard Klemen Prepelic was seriously injured in his left arm in the last quarter of the match that the taronja team played this morning on the UCAM Murcia court”, says the ‘taronja’ team of the Endesa League.
Prepelic, key in the away win in Murcia with 19 points, looked for another decisive basket with less than a minute to go but, unbalanced after contact under the rim with Augusto Lima, he fell to the ground with an obvious fracture in his arm.
“The Slovenian foreigner will miss the remainder of the 2021-22 season after confirming the tests to which he has been subjected that he suffers from a fracture of the ulna and radius of the left arm that will require surgical intervention,” adds Valencia.
