Postecoglou sends warning to Tottenham stars and reveals what he told them after West Ham defeat

Postecoglou warns the Tottenham icons and tells them what he’s told them after they lost to West Ham.

Ange Postecoglou told their Tottenham Hotspur players in the locker room after their loss to West Ham that things will “never be smooth” while he is in charge of the team. And he told them this.

At the start of the season, Spurs went 10 games in the Premier League without losing. This put them at the top of the table. But he told his Spurs team that they weren’t going to be able to really settle down under him.

However, they are currently sitting on five games without a win, losing four of them. Their most recent loss, a 2-1 home loss to West Ham in the derby, made Postecoglou very angry.

The one good thing about the 58-year-old Australian and Tottenham is the fact that he has been here before.
At his previous clubs, there was always some kind of adjustment time before the players got used to his very different methods and philosophy.

“I’ve been there, so I know what to do.” This has happened to me many times. “I know for sure what we need to do,” Postecoglou said before Spurs’ game against Newcastle United.

But for many of those guys, it’s their first time, and I always keep that in mind, no matter where I am. So, I know that there are always problems in the first season.

Sometimes they happen at the start of my term, sometimes in the middle, and sometimes at the end.

They are the first team in Premier League history to be ahead 1-0 in five straight games without beating any of them.

They have also only earned one point out of the last fifteen opportunities, which has ruined a season which had looked so good.

Many people have praised Postecoglou’s attacking style since he took over at Tottenham in the summer.

But he says that winning games is what counts, no matter how good his team’s play has been, even though they have a lot of injuries.

“It’s another game that we’ve dominated as well as haven’t turned our edge into something further tangible as well as kept the opposition out of the game,” he stated. “I thought that we did really bad in both areas: finishing and giving up goals.”

“The chances we had were crazy. For us, it’s just another meeting like the one against Aston Villa and others earlier this year.

We need to work on how we attack a lot. Like I said before, there’s a long way to go. Last night provided further proof of that.

“I coach teams that win games, and we didn’t play well at halftime, down 1-0.” If they had played well, they would have gone 3-0 or 4-0 up, like they were against Villa.

You get what you deserve when you don’t score more goals and give up goals you wouldn’t have liked yesterday.

But their loss to West Ham put them in fifth place alongside 27 points, nine points behind leaders Arsenal. They will need to get better before their game against Newcastle United at home on Sunday.

The Spurs manager said, “There’s no choice but to respond; that’s the game we’re in.” “There’s no reason to feel bad about ourselves or look for a hug anywhere.

“Only one thing can change our situation, and that is to come this Sunday and put in a performance. Not only play good football, but also show that we believe in ourselves as a team.”

As I’ve said from the start, that’s not what I’m talking about. Sometimes we can hide where we’ll be by playing nice music. I came to this sports club because I want to win. That’s the message.

“We still have a long way to go.” Since the beginning, I’ve said that we’re just at the start of what we need to make, and days like that make me realize even more how much we’re need to do.
