Pope Francis will receive RC Celta on July 10 at the Vatican

MADRID, 8 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

RC Celta announced this Wednesday the visit to Pope Francis in Vatican City on Monday July 10 in a private audience, as one of the events scheduled in the coming months as part of the club’s centenary celebration.

“It is an honor that such an influential personality receives us at a historic event in the year of our Centenary,” said the celestial entity in a message posted on its social networks.

The Holy Father will receive a visit from an expedition from the Celtic club headed by its president Carlos Mouriño. Thus, the group from Vigo will have a personalized act in the Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican (Rome).

“We want to cover many events: spiritual, social, sporting, cultural. A wide range so that the centenary celebration is unforgettable. And one of the important events is the one I have just reported,” said the club’s president.
