Polar introduces H10, its new ‘medically accurate’ heart rate sensor

MADRID, 14 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The brand specialized in devices for training and heart rate monitoring Polar presents its ‘H10’ sensor, which measures the electrical signal of the heart and the intervals between heartbeats of the athlete with the same precision as a medical device such as the Holter.

For more than 45 years, medical and sports professionals have trusted Polar heart rate sensors, based on the ECG pulse recording system, measuring the heart rate and the electrical activity of the heart. This provides the athlete with an accurate view of the intensity of their training.

The Polar H10 sensor measures the electrical signal of the heart and the intervals between beats with the same precision as a medical device. Polar presents this Wednesday four new versions of the Polar H10 designed following current market trends with groundbreaking colors that adapt to different styles.

Polar H10 offers the possibility to record heart rate variability (HRV). This parameter is an indicator of the mechanisms of cardiovascular autonomic adaptation of the heart in athletes who practice resistance modalities.

At the same time, it reveals the health status of the athlete and helps him control states of fatigue or overtraining. But it also offers multiple connectivity options, with dual simultaneous Bluetooth Low Energy connection and 5Khz/ANT+ transmission.

This versatility allows the athlete to connect the sensor with their smartphone, with gym machines, cycle computers and other brand products.

The internal memory of the H10 allows the ‘offline’ recording of a training session (up to 30 hours) that is stored in the device. This is really useful for training where the athlete cannot wear a watch or smartphone, such as in team sports or swimming.

After exercise, the user synchronizes the data stored in fitness and sports applications. The soft elastic ‘Pro chest strap’ incorporates additional electrodes that improve the recording of the heart rate signal.

The easy closure system and non-slip silicone dots make it easy to position the sensor on your chest and ensure maximum comfort throughout your workout.

The new versions of the ‘premium’ Polar H10 heart rate sensor are, apart from the original in black, Red Beat, Black Crush, Stone Camo and Forest Camo. The plain versions are engraved with motivational messages ‘Do it with Love’ and ‘Track it. Wear it. Crush it’, through which it transmits to the user passion and enthusiasm for the sport.

With a replaceable battery with autonomy of up to 400 hours of training, water resistance of up to 30 meters, the new versions of Polar H10 are now available at polar.com and authorized stores at a price of 90 euros. The Pro chest strap elastics can also be purchased as an accessory for 35 euros.
