Pol Lozano returns to stay

At Girona from Míchel, injuries and sanctions do not stop coming week after week and it is difficult to find positive news in this regard. The last one has been the return of Pol lozano to the starting eleven, after the footballer on loan from Espanyol has overcome a sprained ankle that has kept him off the pitch for six weeks.

“It is always difficult to come back from an injury, but I have felt good and with good feelings, although I am screwed by the final result of the match,” said Pol Lozano just after the match against Eibar, in which he started and where he was substituted in the 54th minute. Lozano, who sprained his ankle at the beginning of October, took the place of midfielder escorted by Ibrahima Kebé and Aleix García in the trivot that Míchel placed on the green.

The midfielder participated in the game on a total of 41 occasions and most were successful, but his football perhaps lacked some verticality and could do little against the real goals that Eibar scored while he was on the green.

All the ballots to repeat against Leganés

The plague of injuries that Girona has been experiencing in recent months leaves Míchel in the box for another week and with the added inconvenience of the Copa del Rey match next Thursday in Puertollano. The last two to fall were Ibrahima Kebé and David Juncà, who will not be able to play against Leganés due to suspension. The Mali midfielder, a fixture in the eleven since Ramon Terrats’ injury, will almost certainly leave his place for Pol Lozano, who if there is no surprise will chain two consecutive starts in the League, something he had not yet done this season.
