Playoff to Second with morbid: Raúl, against Ibiza; Xabi Alonso, against Andorra de Piqué …

Four teams will be promoted to Second Division and there are 16 candidates. The Federation has raffled today the crosses of the first of the two qualifying rounds that these teams will have to overcome to go up to professional football. TAll matches will be played in Extremadura, home of the Second B playoff and whose first round will be played this weekend (May 15 and 16) and the winners will play the four finals on May 22 and 23.

The draw left great crosses such as Ibiza-Castilla or Real Sociedad B-Andorra. Raúl's men will face Ibiza, one of the fittest teams in all of Second B; while the other duel is one of the most morbid: the team trained by Xabi Alonso against Andorra de Piqué and Sarabia (owner and coach respectively). Badajoz, the favorite to move up, will face Zamora.

The matching criterion was to cross the teams with the best position with the lowest, as far as possible (1st against 4th or 3rd, 2nd against 3rd …) A premise that will condition the development of the matches, since in the event of a tie there will be an extension, but no penalty. If after these additional parts the tables are maintained, the one with the best position in the League will go to the round or be promoted. In the event that both clubs had finished in the same position in the League, the qualifier would be decided in the penalty shoot-out. El Nuevo Vivero, Francisco de la Hera, Municipal and Vicente Sanz will be the four fields in which the promotion will be played.
