Playoff for promotion from Third to Second B: groups, matches, format and schedule

This edition did not require a draw for the playoff promotion to Second B as in previous editions. Due to the pandemic, it has been decided that the playoffs be decided between the teams in the same group. In this way, the first will face the fourth and the second the third (see pairings below). The two winners from each group will be measured in a final by promotion.

Therefore, each Territorial Federation has had to find its own headquarters in its Autonomous Community to dispute the promotion. This phase of promotion, which if it coincides in the criterion of play single game as in the promotion to Second, it will have another striking novelty, such as the way of resolution in the event that a match ends in a draw. There will be no overtime or penalties, the best place in the league advances. In addition to the 18 that are champions, there will be two other promoted among the first of each group who do not succeed. It is not yet known what the criteria will be, but it could be solved through a tie between the candidates.

The first tie will be played on July 18 and 19; while the second, in which the promoted will be decided, will take place on Saturday 25 of the same month. In case of resorting to the dispute of a new tie to decide the other two promoted, it would be held between August 1 and 9.
