Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic declared today, after testing positive for COVID-19, that, apart from having lost smell and taste, it feels “good”.
“I have no major problems and I feel good,” declared the Bosnian athlete, who is isolated at home, to the Football Federation of his country.
“I just don't have the senses of smell and taste,” added the player, who is also a member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina national team, as quoted on the federation's website.
Barcelona reported yesterday that Pjanic, their new reinforcement signed last June, tested positive for the coronavirus in the PCR test which he underwent last Saturday after feeling some discomfort.
Due to the quarantine that he must comply with, the footballer will not be able to join the team's squad for up to fifteen days.
Neither does the Bosnian coach, Dusan Bajevicwill be able to count on one of their best players in the Nations League matches against Italy and Poland that the Bosnians will play on September 4 and 7, respectively
