Piqué publishes his payroll

Gerard Piqué had no qualms about publishing on his twitter account the bank statement confirming the transfer of his payroll corresponding to the first part of the season to deny information from TV3 in which it was stated that he was the highest paid player in the squad with 28 million.

The Catalan central posted on his twitter account in which under the amount of 2,328,884.39 euros you can read ‘Payroll’ with the date of December 30, 2021. To this amount we must add the bonuses, but it is clear that it is very far from what was said on Catalan public television.

Piqué is not shy about criticizing the journalist who revealed this amount, which by the way the club also denied in an official note.

The player wrote that “Characters like this collecting from a public television to defend their friends. Here is 50% of my payroll collected as of December 30. Respect yourself a little.”
