Piqué is furious: he did not know that his children, Milan and Sasha, were starring in Shakira’s latest video clip

Acrostic, the latest song by the Colombian singer, already has 10 million views. And it is that not only the lyrics (a beautiful love ballad) have managed to soften the hearts of her followers but also the appearance, for the first time in a video clip, of her two children, milan and sasha, who sing with their mother and even play the piano. An official and public appearance of which her father, Gerard PiquéI had no idea: “He found out when the video clip was released.”

The former Barça footballer is very upset because, according to his entourage, no one had informed him of the intention to Shakira to include their two youngest children in the video clip of the song nor, of course, had they asked the father for consent to show them to the whole world. What’s more, not even Milan and Sasha, with whom Piqué was in Miami just two weeks ago, had told his father anything, says Lorena Vázquez.

The famous video clip is on everyone’s lips and has generated a great debate in the media and social networks, as Shakira herself issued a statement at the beginning of the month to defend the privacy of her children and their exposure in the media, a speech that many do not understand in view of the use that she herself has made of minors for commercial purposes. However, she wanted to make it clear that it was Milan and Sasha who asked her: “This year Milan has written songs that made me cry with emotion and Sasha has spent hours at the piano, discovering her voice. Both have shared my side in the studio and when they heard this song dedicated to them they asked me to take part”.

The children are about to return to Barcelona. Their first long-term school holidays begin at the end of May and they will fly to Barcelona to spend the next few weeks with their father. In this way, they will be reunited with their paternal grandparents, whom they have not seen since they crossed the pond to settle in Miami.
