Piqué, in his first post-Shakira interview: “I just want my children to be well”

After his break with Shakira, Gerard Piqué gave his first live interview on Tuesday, for which he did not put any veto. The former culé defender has spoken about personal and sporting matters with his friend Jordi Basté, director and presenter of the program The world in Rac1.

Specifically, Clara Chía’s boyfriend has spoken about his retirement in November of last year and about his children, the little Milan, 10 years old, and Sasha, 8: “I’m fine. The phrase ‘When you get older, wanting is leaving march”… It was not a prepared phrase, in my life many things were happening. Each one makes the decisions that he considers. I just want my children to be well,” she explained.

The blaugrana thought of them when hanging up his boots. It was not an idyllic situation for the little ones, since his parents had separated, Gerard entered a new woman in his life and the family structure was completely different.

Piqué has also remembered the moment in which his eldest son appeared on his Twitch channel. Something that would have bothered the Colombian artist. “I have always had a very close relationship with my children and I like them to participate in things that have a good time. My son asked me to participate in the project and I did, and as he participated I feel very proud,” he assured.

In this sense, Gerard has added: “Everyone makes the decisions that they consider to be the best, I do the ways in a way and I try to do it in the best possible way. In class you do not receive a lesson on how you can be a better or worse father I’m fine and wanting to keep doing things. And above all, that our Barça keep winning”.

Piqué’s interview came days after the one from Barranquilla performed live for the first time the Session 53 with Bizarrap. He did it in The Jimmy Fallon Show and before the gaze of her two sons, who witnessed their mother’s performance from the set. The singer will move to Miami with the children, predictably on April 1, coinciding with the American Spring Break.
