Picks for the AT&T Pebble Beach Tennis Pro-Am

Picks for the AT&T Pebble Beach Tennis Pro-Am

You don’t need to be told how special Pebble Beach’s Golf Links is; you just know it when you see it.

But it has been a landmark stop on the West Coast Swing for as long as it’s been around, so it makes sense that it hosts a PGA TOUR Signature Event.

There are eight events in the series, and this is the second one. One of the many benefits of the strong field of 80 is that there is no cut.

Read further down the list of likely competitors for more information on the format, analyses of the two host courses, and more.

For the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the PGA Tour is going to the beautiful California beach of Pebble Beach this week.

Let’s look at the first big event for the PGA Tour period from the point of view of betting to see which ten teams are the best bets this week.

The field for the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is one of the best in the tournament’s history.

This year, the Pebble Beach Resort event is the second signature game on the PGA Tour. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and No. 2 Rory McIlroy are the tournament’s main stars.

18 of the world’s top two-ranked golfers will be competing in the event. From last year’s FedExCup points list, some of the greatest players on the PGA Tour have made it to the event.

Other golfers who will be at the latest AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am besides Scheffler and McIlroy are Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffle, Patrick Cantlay, Wyndham Clark, and Max Homa.

Nick Dunlap will also be at the event, which is interesting. This is the golfer, who is 20 years old,’s first professional event. The junior golfer joins the PGA Tour after last week’s win at The American Express.

Since the death of Phil Mickelson in 1991, he was the first amateur winner on the tour. Because of how the event is set up, several amateurs will join him. It’s still not clear if Tiger Woods is available.

It’s worth mentioning that the field to the $20 million no-cut event is not yet full. The complete field won’t be made public until the Farmers Insurance Open is over. Soon, names will be set for players like the likes of Justin Thomas as well as Grayson Murray.

While playing on the PGA Tour, Jordan Spieth has won 13 times. In 2017, he won the AT&T Pebble Beach Golf Pro-Am and was the overall winner.

There will be a lot of big names in the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field, including Scottie Scheffler, Viktor Hovland, Rory McIlroy, and Justin Thomas.

Last year, Spieth didn’t win any tournaments, and he had a rough time at Pebble Beach Golf Links, where he tied for 63rd place in 2023. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2024 will start on Thursday, February 1, at Pebble Beach.

The latest odds for the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Resort Pro-Am put Spieth at 18-1. The PGA odds board lists Scheffler (8-1) as the favorite, Hovland (12-1) as the next best bet, and Xander Schauffele (16-1) as the next best.

SportsLine’s proven computer model can predict the golf tournament and show who will win before you make your 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am picks.

Since the start of the PGA Tour in June 2020, SportsLine’s own model, which was made by DFS pro Mike McClure, has proven very successful.

In fact, since the restart, the model has won every tournament and made more than $9,000 on its best bets.

With McClure’s model, it was clear that Jon Rahm would win the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions or The American Express.

Before the weekend at the 2023 Masters, the model had been all over Rahm’s second major win of his career.

Rahm was behind the leader by two strokes going into the closing round, but the model still thought he would win.

The model correctly predicted Matt Kuchar’s win at the Masters in 2022, making it two wins in a row.
