Pedro Martínez advances to the semifinals of the Kitzbühel tournament

Spanish tennis player Pedro Martínez has advanced to the semifinals of the Kitzbühel tournament (Austria), ATP 250 category and disputed on beaten earth, after beating the Slovak on Thursday Jozef Kovalik (6-2, 6-2).

The Valencian, current world number 97, began breaking in a game in which his rival responded with a 'contrabreak'. From that moment, Martínez did not lose his service again and materialized two other breaks that allowed him to win the partial.

Already in the second sleeve, Alzira's linked five games won in a row to close the crash in an hour and a half. His next rival will be German Daniel Altmaier, number 135 in the ATP ranking.
