MADRID, 16 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish goalkeeper Patricia Larqué became a new Atlético de Madrid player this Sunday, coming from Deportivo Alavés and with a one-season contract.
“Patricia Larqué (05/2/1992, Zuera, Zaragoza) and Atlético de Madrid have reached an agreement for the goalkeeper to defend our goal. The woman from Zaragoza, who arrives from Deportivo Alavés, has signed her contract until 30 June 2024”, says the rojiblanco team in an official statement.
Larqué, 31, trained in the lower categories of Zaragoza and became part of the first team in the 2013/14 season, where he spent five seasons. Later, the goalkeeper played for Santa Teresa, for Rayo Vallecano and, the last three seasons, for Alavés.
“The woman from Zaragoza, who is characterized by being an agile and fast goalkeeper under the sticks, with great footwork, was called up by the absolute Spanish team in 2019, although she did not make her debut. The footballer signed her contract after successfully overcoming the medical examination that was carried out in Vithas”, adds an Atlético with the challenge of fighting for the League and returning to the Champions League.
